How we do it.

Closed cell goes on the steel.It can be sprayed directly on metal.
Open cell needs a liner.Open cell goes on OSB or a proper liner, never on bare metal.
High work is on us.We bring the lifts and scaffolding.
Empty and accessible.The building has to be empty, with driveway access for a trailer about 10 feet tall.

Foam and thickness.

R-value measures how well insulation holds back heat. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. Ask your seller for the fact sheet on R-values. R-values are for UPC 500 open cell and UPC 2.0 HFO closed cell, from the manufacturer's code compliance reports, at the thickness shown. Closed cell is rigid and also blocks moisture; open cell is softer and dampens sound. We choose the foam for each job. See the data sheets

Questions.

Does foam on metal need a coating?

Closed cell can go directly on metal, and we strongly recommend a coating over it. Several coatings can go over foam, and we can supply one if you need it.

Can you spray in winter?

Spray foam is temperature sensitive. We don't spray below 20°F except in certain situations, and we check the conditions before every job.

How does payment work?

We collect a 50% deposit to schedule the job and the rest when it's done, unless other terms are agreed beforehand. Large commercial jobs have their own payment terms.
