VICTORYSpray Foam
Commercial

Apartments and multifamily, sealed and quieter.

Spray foam for apartment and multifamily buildings, including sound dampening between units.

How we do it.

  • Sound dampening between units.Open cell foam in the walls between units.
  • Scheduled around construction. We come in after electrical, with one to two weeks' notice.
  • Commercial terms.Large jobs have their own payment terms, agreed before work starts.
  • Local multifamily work.Including apartment buildings in Yorktown and Muncie.

Foam and thickness.

FoamWhere it goesTypical thicknessR-value per inch
Open cellWalls3.5 in +R-3.8 to 4.2
Closed cellWalls2 in +R-7.6 to 8.1

R-value measures how well insulation holds back heat. Higher is better. Closed cell is rigid and also blocks moisture; open cell is softer and dampens sound. Ranges are from Universal Polymers (UPC) data sheets, tested at 1 inch. We choose the foam for each job. See the data sheets

Questions.

When do you come in on a new build?
After electrical. We need one to two weeks' notice to get you on the schedule.
How does payment work?
We collect a 50% deposit to schedule the job and the rest when it's done, unless other terms are agreed beforehand. Large commercial jobs have their own payment terms.
What's the difference between open cell and closed cell?
Open cell is used in attics, walls and for sound dampening, above grade, and works as an air barrier. Closed cell does everything open cell does except sound dampening: it's also a moisture and vapor barrier, and it adds strength.
